Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference
The Wisconsin Entrepreneurs' Conference is one of the Midwest’s premiere “how-to,” hands-on events for entrepreneurs of all ages and experience levels. Attendees range from entrepreneurs who are still developing their ideas to emerging company leaders who have already attracted angel and/or venture funding. The conference will take place June 1 & 2 in Milwaukee at the Italian Community Center.

UWW ENACTUS USA Reserve National Champions (2nd Place)
On April 22nd, the UW-Whitewater Enactus team was ENACTUS Reserve National Champions (2nd place) in New York at the United States National Exposition. UWW Enactus presented the Aadya project, which creates and implements a sustainable model using mobile eye screeners in communities in India and across the world.
Startup Guides is Piloting a New Program
Founded by David Gee, Startup Guides is piloting a new program this summer. Social EDventures is a national social entrepreneurship program where high school students partner with students from other high schools to build innovative products and services to do social good. Our program is held virtually to allow students from across the world to collaborate with one another.

Ideadvance Applications Open
The Ideadvance Seed Fund encourages small businesses looking to solve problems in new ways and diversify into new markets to apply by July 21.

Stage 1 programs are designed to reduce business and technical risk so you can attract customers, partners or other critical funding milestones. Pairing with a UW System faculty, staff, student or alumni is required, and gives your business a chance to incorporate local talent, energy and technical know-how. Successful Stage 1 companies are eligible for Stage 2 funding to expand your customer acquisition and follow-on funding strategies.
