We have two grand pianos, and we only use one often. Would there ever be any way for piano students to use the grand usually in the theater for practice? Solely using digital pianos for practice eventually can become detrimental when practicing something like dynamics.
Are you suggesting you will give the school one of the pianos? If so please contact Mr. Soto. If not, please have your child to see Ms. Jeong for use of the piano in the theater.
My daughter commutes from the far north side and got her license in the fall and all parking passes were sold. She has a few friends who drive however they do not use their pass everyday and the lot doesn't ever seem to be full. My daughter has driven a few times and recently received a warning. Is there any way these passes could be shared, or you sell more with the concept that not too many students drive everyday.
We do sell parking passes beyond our capacity. I spoke to Mr. Swanson and he indicated many times the parking lot is filled to capacity. Unfortunately, we will not be selling anymore parking passes.
I’m on this medicine that makes me tremendously tired, so mornings and getting up are brutal for me. I’ve come a couple minutes late to first period a few times due to this instance, and I keep getting detention after detention but I just can’t help it and I don’t know what to do.
Please see Ms. Corryne Irvin, our Director of Diverse Learners. She will confer with our nurse and other professionals to identify a plan of action.
Dr. Kenner is soliciting questions for the Whitney Young Weekly. She will select and answer questions each week. Note: By submitting your question, you agree that the question and answer will be published and sent to the whole school community. Not all questions will be able to be answered/published. Due to the popularity of Kenner's Korner, questions may take at least four weeks to be published. If you have an immediate concern, please contact the Main Office during regular school hours at
