Will we be getting an SAT prep enrichment activity sometime soon? I know it's hard to find the materials but I'm really concerned because the SAT is coming up very soon, and I don't want to miss too many chances to study being caught in other things.
Please contact Dr. Dagny Bloland at ddbloland@cps.edu. Dr. Bloland is responsible for all prep enrichment activities.
Recently we received an email regarding the school's parking lot. Can parents park in the parking lot when visiting for less than 30 mins at most or is it strictly for students and staff with permits? My daughter is a diverse learner and sometimes I have to go to school.
Yes, for this reason you may park in the parking lot. Please obtain a temporary parking pass in the Main Office prior to parking in the lot.
A few years ago, all the bathrooms had murals. Is there a reason why they were painted over? Is there a possibility of art students now being able to make new ones?
The bathrooms were renovated and thus the murals were painted over. We will have a coordinated effort with Mr. Soto and Ms. Wax to determine what we will do with each of our bathrooms. Please see one of them if you have any ideas.
What are the instructions and guidelines in creating a club?
Please contact Ms. Kimberly Smith at kjkielnik@cps.edu. Make sure you have an advisor for any club/organization you have created.

Due to the popularity of Kenner's Korner, questions may take at least four weeks to be published. There number of challenges and bans on books in schools and libraries across the country is on the rise. Many of these books have been pulled from reading lists or curriculum because they are by and about people from marginalized groups. Books about race and racism and those that feature LGBTQ+ people have been especially at risk. Young people deserve access to media that offers a diverse range of experiences and perspectives. Click here to visit the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee website for a list of books that have been banned. Read to help fight media censorship!
