CBFNC Seeks  Helping Pastors Thrive  
Program Director
CBFNC is now taking cover letters and resumés for the full-time position of Helping Pastors Thrive Program Director. Through the generosity of Lilly Endowment’s Thriving in Ministry Initiative, CBFNC received $1,000,000 to support NC pastors in unique stages and places of ministry. The purpose of the program is to provide N.C. pastors ongoing opportunities and environments for relational learning, spiritual formation, and professional development in the practices of Christian ministry across the vocational life span.

Essay Scholarship Contest
High school juniors and seniors can win up to $2,000 for college in the Baptist Joint Committee’s Religious Liberty Essay Scholarship Contest. The 2019 topic asks students to evaluate and share their opinion on the “Johnson Amendment,” which is a provision in the tax code allowing nonprofits to be political but not partisan. Essays must be between 800-1,200 words and postmarked by March 8, 2019.
