UCAN – the United Camber Advocacy Network represents seven local chambers of commerce, representing over 5,000 employers in four counties in Northern California. The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce is proud to be one of the 7 local Chambers of the Network.
Consequences of COVID Benefits
State and federal benefits are hurting hiring, according to a recent UCAN Employer Survey. 80% of employers surveyed said they are hiring and 56% of them said that prospective employees are telling them that for now, they prefer to accept state and federal COVID benefits than accept a job.
