The Deerfield Valley Pilgrimage Experience
Are you the sort of person who goes on a pilgrimage? Probably yes.
What sort of people have been coming on the pilgrimage? All sorts: teachers, cooks, clergy, kids, people of all ages (from age 1 (in a stroller) to 89 (I hope someone will break that record this year), those expressing all types of religion and spirituality, nature lovers, people curious about pilgrimages, hikers and casual walkers, people with cancer and other afflictions, people seeking peace and reconciliation, some loners and some gregarious, both the fit and the sedentary like me.
The volunteers are the same demographic as the walkers, and many of them are both walkers and volunteers, since they may volunteer for a morning and walk the rest of the weekend, or vice versa. The volunteer experience is very rich and like that of the walkers. They are in nature; they share the community spirit and spiritual uplift of the event.
All sorts of people enjoy the pilgrimage walk. I think it is an experience that everyone will always remember. Please join us on the weekend of September 20th and 21st. You can click on the “register to attend” link above to sign up.
