CBFNC Calls Andy Jung 
as Associate Executive Coordinator
To best serve the vision, mission and ministry of Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina, the organization’s Coordinating Council has named Andy Jung as Associate Executive Coordinator.  

In the newly created position, Jung will work closely with CBFNC Executive Coordinator Larry Hovis, councils, ministry teams, committees, staff and partners to supervise ministry functions, ensure fulfillment of CBFNC’s vision and strategic plan, and provide day-to-day coordination of programs and ministries. The Racial Equity Institute is committed to bringing participants into an awareness and analysis of the historical and cultural roots of institutional racism and how the disparities of racism continue today in our systems. It does not focus on individual bias but embraces a movement approach. REI’s Phase I workshop is a full two days, led by several presenters with discussion, video, and interactive exercises.
