Dear Reader,
It's your life.

Live it so you're having fun, making money and doing good.

Make sure that little voice in your head (that only you can hear) keeps you focused on the "what" you want to do and the "how" to do it.

Please remember that little voice works for you and not the other way around.

Give yourself some goals, targets, aspirations or ambitions to get you from where you are to where you want to be.

Believe in yourself and your abilities to achieve your future.

Keep a positive mental attitude. Never give up and make your accomplishments worthy of you.

Join us for breakfast any Wednesday - virtually or in person - and we'll discuss moving you in the direction you want to go!

Successful regard$,

FEATURED EVENT
ON THIS DAY SEPTEMBER 30th
1791
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 35, conducts in Vienna while his sister-in-law sings a key role in the premiere performance of his newest opera, 'The Magic Flute.' The work will be rapturously received, but its composer will relish the achievement for just two months before falling ill and dying.
1935
A five-year construction program taken on at the height of the Great Depression to harness the mighty Colorado River results in Boulder Dam, a towering hydroelectric dam stretching across Black Canyon between Arizona and Nevada. Congress will later rename the structure the Hoover Dam.
1938
Adolph Hitler wants Czechoslovakia's borderlands, and European leaders, still haunted by the ghosts of World War I and intimidated by the ever-growing Nazi war machine, agree to the demand. The Munich Agreement is signed by Britain, Italy, France, and Germany, allowing the Nazis to annex the 'Sudetenland.'
1960
The first animated primetime sitcom debuts, introducing viewers to Fred Flintstone and his modern stone-age family. The show will run for six seasons, but spinoffs—and vitamins—will keep the franchise rolling for more than five decades.

TIPS OF THE DAY
A not-for-profit cooperative association of independent service business owners, founded from an economic development research project on the importance of startup business development
conducted by the  Houston Chamber of Commerce in the late 1970's.

We operate entirely without grants, gifts, donations, contributions or public funding.
We don't have our hand out and we are NOT your tax dollars at work!
We're independent business owners, entirely self-funded and very proud of it.

Co-Op startup companies have won virtually every award for business growth in Houston, some nationally and some even internationally.

When you want assistance with your business, seek only those who have actual hands-on business ownership experience. You'll be glad you did! It makes for a world of difference!

Since our first Co-Op meeting held March 14, 1983, we've worked with 65,648 people, generating 45,207 tips, leads, referrals and items of new business, generating revenues exceeding one billion dollars, founded the Entrepreneurial Development Center - Houston's first and Texas' oldest small business incubator and co-working space, First Houston Small Business Seed Capital Fund - literally the first small business seed capital fund in Houston, the Womens Business Center - first business incubator for women business owners in the United States with residency space and the Virtual Business Center - the first remote business incubator in the world - all totally without public funding, grants, gifts, donations or contributions.

Our Entrepreneurial Research conclusively demonstrated A) "entrepreneurship" could be taught in a classroom environment, resulting in colleges and universities, globally, commencing entrepreneurial courses and B) that women starting businesses were seeking a hand-up and a level playing field rather than a hand-out or charity and C) that business incubators actually accelerated business growth resulting in the next generation being named accelerators and D) incubators/accelerators could be entirely self-sufficient by charging a modest royalty interest in client companies and E) that entrepreneurship was color blind and gender neutral.

Here are but a few of the many endorsements given us.

Here are some of the organizations we've worked with.

We grow companies, build careers and advance ideas.
May we assist with yours?
