For the past 31 years, SCCA-NNJR has been hosting this annual event. Announcing the 2022 NEDiv Championship Race Series!
The NEDiv Board met several weeks ago to plan out the Northeast Divisions racing schedules for 2022. We planned the Supertour, Majors and Regional racing schedules.

The full schedule of all northeast events will be posted to the NEDiv web page.

Due to scheduling conflict with the June 3-5th Watkins Glen International Hoosier Super Tour, SCCA-NNJR's 2022 Pocono Majors will not be included in next year's Major's schedule. We are looking forward to the including the event in the 2023 schedule.
Registration is open for the
2022 National Virtual Convention!

New Jersey National RoadRally Weekend
On October 10th NNJR conducted the New Jersey National Course RoadRally. The event will be held in honor of NNJR member Dave Panas who was one of the original organizers of the NJ Monte back in the early '60s. The event was the second half of the New Jersey National RoadRally Weekend and marked the region's return to the National RoadRally series after a 29 year absents. The photos below are the NJ Monte class winners receiving their awards from Lenore Panas. Teams came from as far away as Seattle to test their map reading skills against the New Jersey 'Esso' map.
1st Overall and 1st in the Equipped Class - Steve Gaddy/Chris Bean
1st in the Limited Class - Ed Sain/Doug Sain
1st in the Stock Class - Mark Everett/Rod Hendricksen
1st place Novice - Lucas McConoughey/Nathan Smith
1st place Seat of Pants - Martina Bleimaier/John Bleimaier
1st place Beginner - Kurt Ghering/Garner Ghering
The following was submitted by Ed Sain and is a first-hand recount of the New Jersey National RoadRally Weekend. The weekend featured two events — The North by Northwest National RoadRally and the New Jersey Monte RoadRally — hosted by South Jersey SCCA and Northern New Jersey SCCA, respectively. In addition to being a National RoadRally, the New Jersey Monte also had a Regional Rally associated with the event. Join us in enjoying his recount of the exciting weekend!

"Finally…some SCCA National events that are not hundreds of miles from home!

The first step is getting the family Toyota RAV4 ready for its maiden rally event, installing some extra outlets for the original Chronar (serial number 000 from Ed Rachner—this was his original prototype) and for powering the ALFA odometer (third time we used it) as well as thinking about “night” lighting in case the weather is dark and dreary. Next up is strapping down the rally tool box and milk crate (containing fire extinguisher, flares, emergency triangles, tow ropes, tire iron, duct tape, tie downs—better to have and not need rather than need and not have!) in the rear area."
