Pumpkin Walk
The pumpkin walk is tonight, October 25th! Join The Friends of Choate Park from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. for this fun, family event! Please remember to bring a flashlight as this is a dark event. Parking will be available at Cassidy Fields, off of Winthrop Street. ONLY Handicapped parking at Choate (please enter from Mechanic Street if you have a handicapped placard and park in the Choate lot). Please note, there is a private event at Thayer Homestead during the evening. Therefore, NO parking will be allowed for Pumpkin Walk visitors (private event only).

For those families looking for a low fear Halloween option this weekend, check out Cub Scout Troop 367's haunted house at Christ Episcopal's Church, 14 School Street. The event is tomorrow, October 26th from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. $5.00.

Nightmare on Choate Trail
New this year, Nightmare on Choate Trail! Hosted by Medway/Millis Youth Football & Cheer, this haunted walk will take you from Medway High School and end at Cassidy Field (buses will be available for transport back to hs). This event is not for the faint of heart nor for children that would have nightmares watching a scary movie! One Night ONLY, Saturday, October 26th from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. $10.00.

Head to the Medway Public Library, 26 High Street on Saturday, October 26th. Fill a bag for $5.00 at the Friends of the Medway Public Library's book sale from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. All proceeds are used to fund library materials, programs and museum passes.

Looking for some family fun? Come on down to the Medway Fire Department's Open House on Sunday, October 27th from 10:00 a.m. - 2: 00 p.m. All the fun will take place at the Fire Station located at 44 Milford Street.  Bring the kids in costume for a great day of pumpkin carving, pumpkin decorating, face painting (10:00-1:00), lessons in fire safety and even a pumpkin DROP from the top of the ladder truck! Pizza will be served! Last year you helped us raise over $1,000 for Medway Mustangs Gridiron and we're hoping you can help us again by stopping by this year's Drive 4 UR School event on October 27th at St. Joseph's Parish Center, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., 145 Holliston Street. For every person who takes a test-drive in a Ford vehicle during our event, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Medway Mustangs Gridiron. Participants are only required to take a short survey & test drive a Ford vehicle within the parking lot. Raffles & giveaways.

Trunk or Treat
Join Medway Parks and Recreation for a trunk or treat at Oakland Park on October 29th at 12pm! What is a trunk or treat? Local businesses will decorate the trunks of their cars with a theme and stock the trunk with candy. Then the vehicles are lined up in the parking lot area for the kids to go trunk to trunk, picking up the treats. Hope to see you then! More info. here .

It is designed to serve the needs of both recreational and competitive skaters. When a murder at the 1950s sock hop occurs, it’s up to the guests to figure out “whodunit”! Gather your friends and dress the part with poodle skirts and leather jackets. Come celebrate 10 years with Medway Community Farm on November 9th , 7:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m. ! T his season, MCF is taking our traditional fall Farm-to-Fork dinner in a new direction. This year it is being held at Thayer Homestead, 2B Oak Street. Guests will be able to enjoy the indoor/outdoor fireplace, and the immaculate indoor space for eating, chatting, and auctioning. Learn how to make your very own 3D Video Game character. Kids start by learning to move around in a virtual 3D environment, then move on to designing a 3D world for their stories and programming character control.
