Medway Parks and Recreation
Tired of the same old work out? Spice up the workout routine with POUND! Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training. The next session starts on Tuesday, October 1st at the Medway Senior Center, 76 Oakland Street. Classes are from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Register here.

Barre Above® is a totally unique approach to barre workouts as you've seen them. Fusing the best of pilates, yoga, aerobics, and elements of the strengthening exercises dancers do, Barre Above® delivers a results-driven workout that is not only fun and dynamic, but it will sculpt your body and get you into absolutely amazing shape. Video Game Design encompasses storytelling, pixel art, and object oriented programming, all through a user friendly, 2D game design platform. Register today with Medway Parks and Recreation. Classes start on October 1st from 5:00 - 6:30 Medway High School. Grades 2-8 are welcome to participate.

Dig Pink Fundraiser
Please join Medway High Girls’ Volleyball Teams for their annual Dig Pink®Rally at Medway High School, 88 Summer Street. The girls will play Norwood on Thursday, October 3rd. . Festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. (JV/FR) and 5:15 p.m. (Varsity). Help the team reach their goal of $6,000 to benefit Side-Out Foundation and breast cancer research! Invite Card

Come join the FIGHT with us! A Night to Fight Cancer is being held at the Medway VFW, 123 Holliston Street on Friday, October 4th. Support a local cause while shopping at our vendor fair from 7:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. There will be raffle prizes and more! All proceeds go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

Medway Community Education invites you to join Sofia Reddy on how to use mindfulness to reduce stress and increase your well-being at home and in the workplace. This series of classes, starts on October 10th at the Medway High School, 88 Summer Street. The class will cover techniques, tips and resources for practicing mindfulness and self-care. Rossetti's Corner
An open invitation for all to attend the dedication ceremony of Rossetti's Corner. The corner, where Rossetti's restaurant stood, from 1960 through 1976, will be dedicated in honor of Alfred P. "Freddie" Rossetti, Jr. Please join us for a very special ceremony on Saturday, October 19th at 9:00 a.m., as we honor a man who truly loved his community and treated every person that visited Rossetti's Restaurant with kindness and compassion. For all those not familiar with Rossetti's Restaurant, it was located on the corner of Rte. 109 & Holliston St. (where Berkshire Hathaway is currently located)
Medway Police Chase 5K
NEW DATE! The 2nd Annual Police Chase 5K will be held on Saturday, October 19th at Medway High School, 88 Summer Street. This is a night-time glow run or walk event! Fun for the entire family - sign your kids up for the 1-mile kids FUN run. Register here . Kids race starts at 7:00 PM. 5K starts at 7:30 PM

Pumpkin Walk
The pumpkin walk is back! The pumpkin walk is a fun, festive, family-oriented event hosted by The Friends of Choate Park. This year the pumpkin walk will be held on Friday, October 25th from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, October 27th. This is a Free event. Concessions will be available at the park. Please remember to bring a flashlight as this is a dark event. Please check out this link for more information on the night and how to donate a pumpkin.

Medway Council On Aging  is planning our 4th annual Veteran's Day event. If you are a veteran, we need your help! Would you be willing to share your story with a Medway High School student? After you work one-on-one with this student, he/she will present your story at our annual event in November.
