Medway's annual Veterans Day ceremony will be held on November 11th at the Medway VFW post 1526, 123 Holliston Street. The ceremony commences precisely at 10:55 a.m. with a parade of colors by Town of Medway's veterans and remarks from dignitaries. The ceremony is intended to honor and thank all who served in the United States Armed Forces. This year's ceremonies will be dedicated to the memory of Colonel Michael Matondi. This year the event will take place on Thursday, November 21st from 4:00 pm. - 6:00 p.m. Medway High School students will present the life stories of 6 area veterans. Medway Foundation for Education will hold their annual wine tasting on Thursday, November 21st at Pour Richard's Wine & Spirits, 14 Grove Street in Franklin, MA. The 9th annual Medway Turkey Trot 5K Road Race will take place on Thanksgiving morning, November 28th , 7:30 a.m. All proceeds to fund uniforms & equipment for the Medway Athletic Department. Ring in your holiday with the 27th Annual Medway Christmas Parade! This spectacular Medway tradition will be held on Saturday, November 30th starting at 5:30 p.m. Line the parade route (Holliston St. to Main St.) to view Grand Marshal, Buzz Johnson, fire trucks and floats. The parade will conclude with a visit from Santa at the Thayer Homestead, 2B Oak St. The evening will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display overlooking Choate Pond. More info.
