Thayer House - Hoedown
Come celebrate 10 years with Medway Community Farm on November 9th , 7:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m. ! T his season, MCF is hosting a hoedown at Thayer Homestead, 2B Oak Street. Guests will be able to enjoy the indoor/outdoor fireplace, and the immaculate indoor space for eating, chatting, and auctioning. Music will be playing both from a DJ and a live band, and we’re adding a 50/50 raffle. Purchase tickets here.

Veterans Day Ceremonies
Medway's annual Veterans Day ceremony will be held on November 11th at the Medway VFW post 1526, 123 Holliston Street. The ceremony commences precisely at 10:55 a.m. with a parade of colors by Town of Medway's veterans and remarks from dignitaries. The ceremony is intended to honor and thank all who served in the United States Armed Forces. This year's ceremonies will be dedicated to the memory of Colonel Michael Matondi. All attendees should RSVP to 508-533-3210.

Has your son been curious about lacrosse? Join the High School lacrosse coaches for a free clinic with an introduction to the sport of lacrosse. No equipment is needed, everything will be provided. The clinic will be held on Tuesday, November 12 th , Pre-registration is required, sign up today.

Please join us for our 4th Annual Veterans Day Project Event at the Medway Senior Center, 76 Oakland Street. This year the event will take place on Thursday, November 21st from 4:00 pm. - 6:00 p.m. Medway High School students will present the life stories of 6 area veterans. Light refreshments will be served.

Wine Tasting Fundraiser
Medway Foundation for Education will hold their annual wine tasting on Thursday, November 21st at Pour Richard's Wine & Spirits, 14 Grove Street in Franklin, MA. Please join us for this fundraising event from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. A percentage of all sales will go back to the MFE to support school programs. Purchase tickets ($15.00) at the door. Grab some friends, a sense of adventure and join Medway Parks and Recreation on a trip to APEX in Marlboro on Friday, November 22nd. The trip is open to grades 5-8. Buses will depart at 2:00 p.m. and return at 8:00 p.m. Register here .

The 9th annual Medway Turkey Trot 5K Road Race will take place on Thanksgiving morning, November 28th , 7:30 a.m. All proceeds to fund uniforms & equipment for the Medway Athletic Department. Annual Christmas Parade
Ring in your holiday with the 27th Annual Medway Christmas Parade! This spectacular Medway tradition will be held on Saturday, November 30th starting at 5:30 p.m. Line the parade route (Holliston St. to Main St.) to view Grand Marshal, Buzz Johnson, fire trucks and floats. The parade will conclude with a visit from Santa at the Thayer Homestead, 2B Oak St. The evening will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display overlooking Choate Pond. More info. Learn how to make your very own 3D Video Game character. Kids start by learning to move around in a virtual 3D environment, then move on to designing a 3D world for their stories and programming character control. Join us on December 5th ( early release day) for a "drive-in" movie featuring the beloved movie Frozen! Design your own cardboard box car at home or come early starting at 12:30 p.m. to transform your box with us! Bring your own box and we'll provide the supplies to decorate. The movie starts at 1 p.m. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult during decorating. Pre-registration is required . Register here.

School is out early! Join Medway Parks and Recreation on Tuesday, December 10 th for a fun day at Urban Air in Bellingham. Grab your friends for the afternoon. Bus will leave from (11:30 a.m.) and return to (4:30 p.m.) Burke/Memorial School. Children in grades 2-4 are welcome. Register today.
