Condina - who is an inspiration every day!

As we move forward into 2021, I've been reflecting on  how in the midst of all the stress and craziness of 2020  being real with myself and others has been vital to maintaining my sanity and  sense of self.  For me, this past year has been about navigating uncertainty, quarantines, social distance, fear, anger, financial stress, and exhaustion. Alongside all of that has been more time to reflect, gratitude for health and loved ones, the joy of non-demanding time with our equines, and the blessing of having an amazing Stand InBalance human herd and a supportive community.

Moving into the New Year is a great time to further authenticity - to really dig deep and get real about who you are, what you value, what you need, and how you want to show up in the world. The first place to start is by checking in on your current level of authenticity (it's always a work in progress!). Take some time to check out our articles below and  connect with your authentic self.

Wishing you Authenticity in the New Year,

Horse Wisdom

Horses are consummate teachers of authenticity. Through their genuine interactions with each other, horses maintain the cooperation, teamwork, and loyalty that ensure the cohesion and prosperity of the herd.  As prey animals with finely tuned senses, they are experts at sensing incongruence in their environment and they are powerful messengers that mirror back their direct experience of us humans.

When the horse Jenny* (31 y.o.) had chosen to work with dramatically backed away from her as she announced that she was "feeling really good" he was making was a clear statement about her lack of authenticity... Read More

"I was drawn to the women's retreat because of the horses' ability to act as a medium to express unconscious thoughts.
