The Holiday Camp Store is back! Get ready for some winter surprises...
It's that time of year again, when GCC goes full winter. It's our second favorite time of year.

The Holiday Camp Store opens on Black Friday for your holiday shopping. No supply chain problems here. We did our homework early.

It's also THAT time of year.
OK, it was another year without "real" camp, but you know what? We still had a great time! We were so inspired by our campers that we made it work.

  • We did a pop-up drive-in movie in a parking lot.
  • We put on day camps in public parks.
  • We hosted a dozen parent support groups.
  • And we had one amazing overnight for seniors who would have otherwise missed their last year of camp.

We did it because our kiddos and families needed it.

But it was only possible because of all the incredible donors, like you, who provide the modest financial support for all these programs. In this giving season, please remember Gales Creek Camp.

November Hope-Mongering session topic:

What if you could ask your child how you could do better?
This month, we took to social media and asked young people growing up with type 1 diabetes some questions about their parents, including

  • What is one thing you wish your parents knew about growing up with T1D?

  • What do you wish your parents would do differently in helping manage your T1D

We'll reveal and discuss their responses in this month's Hope-mongering parent support session.
A moment from our previous session with Dr. Amy Stoeber. Sometimes the sessions feel like a presentation, sometimes an interview, sometimes a panel, but always a conversation.
This "Hope-mongering" parent support session is November 18 at 7pm hosted on Zoom.
