I first became interested in Isles' work almost 40 years ago after reading an article about its community gardens project. Being from the Trenton area, I was struck by the need that Isles was fulfilling through its program to revitalize the community, which was something I wanted to commit to. I sent in a donation to show my support and later became more engaged by getting to know the Isles team.
Over the years, my wife and I have watched Isles grow in its breadth and impact, helping to bring real change and progress. We are grateful to now be able to make an annual gift to Isles, including through the DiLeo Family Foundation, to support its work in Trenton and beyond. Isles work, through its core programs including the more than 70 urban gardens, job training and education, and lead paint abatement and energy efficiency for low-income families, continues to support area residents on their road to self-reliance.
Please join us this year in making a gift to Isles to ensure it has the resources necessary to continue making positive change in the community.
