A variety of services give you an opportunity to join with others in sacred ways, offer prayer and praise, and center yourself for the week ahead.
The new Family Worship service is creative and meaningful.
Celebrate with us that the inaugural family worship service was a thing of beauty. Families will gather again this Sunday at 9 AM for a time of active participation from children, youth, and adults. Bring your whole selves, move around, and worship God. The liturgy is meaningful and accessible, relevant to people of all ages and in all stages of life. If this fits you, please give it a try -- and please share with others who might enjoy this service!
Gather this Sunday, September 19, for an update from Eagle Construction
Please make time for an update from Eagle Construction about the proposed building plans for the new Sweetspire subdivision. We will gather on September 19 from 10-10:45 AM in the Sanctuary. Eagle will share its concepts, provide more information, and listen to what feedback you may have. This meeting is for Christ Church members and those who've been worshiping with us only. A separate meeting is scheduled on September 20, at 6:30 p.m. for the neighboring communities at large. We hope you can be here on the 19th to imagine with us our new neighbors!

What does Jesus teach us about Unity? Gather at the Men's Breakfast to discuss
All men are invited to gather for a time of fellowship and faith formation this Saturday, September 18, at 8:00 AM. The group will gather outside and you are asked to bring your own breakfast and beverage. The discussion topic will be "Unity." During a time when our country seems highly divided, what does Jesus teach us about being united in the face of difficult circumstances? If it rains, the group will move to Zoom. Please join the Men's Community Info Group in Realm or contact Dave Wasik to be notified of changes and updates.
Special Diocese Day of Commitment on Saturday, September 18
As we emerge from the pandemic, many youth and adults are ready to be Confirmed or Received into The Episcopal Church, or to Reaffirm their baptismal vows. On Saturday, September 18, the Diocese of Virginia's Day of Commitment will offer an opportunity for such candidates and others to gather to make their vows and to celebrate their adult commitment. This special ceremony will take place at two local churches, including Christ Church. With grateful hearts for God’s call to us all to be disciples of Jesus, and fellow journeyers of the Way of Love, we ask your prayers for the all persons preparing to receive the sacrament of Confirmation or be received by the bishop into The Episcopal Church on September 18.
