Nikki Haley sells SC home; Kelly Bryant makes transfer decision; and jurors visit alleged scene of the crime in the Colucci trial

Your newsletter is going to look a little different for a few days.

If you're reading this, hi, good morning, you're special. You've been randomly selected to beta-test our daily newsletter redesign!

My favorite thing about writing this newsletter since I started it is hearing from you all, so please, let me know what you think. Our newsletter readers are seriously the best of our readers, in my opinion. If you've been getting it since I got to the Post and Courier, you've seen a few iterations of it already. So hit reply and keep that feedback coming.

I ask for your patience while I try this format for the next 3 days. On Sunday, it will go back to your regular format at least for a little while while we evaluate the feedback we get.

Here's a little idea of what some of the changes are and why:
  • Some of you said our newsletter was a bit too cluttered, so we took out many of the photos to make it quicker to skim through.
  • Load times were a little higher than we liked, so we made it quicker to download.
  • Instead of throwing 15 or so photos at you, we're giving you the stories and only showing you the best photos we have.
  • By making the format more flexible, we can show you the very best and most important stories we have.
