INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP (4 sessions)
Instructor: Alexander (Sasha) Vasiljev Tues., Nov. 13, 27, Dec .4 (7-10pm) and Sun. Dec. 2 (10am-1pm). $215
First, second and fourth sessions are in a class setting and the third session is a field trip. This workshop will teach you the basics of digital photography. Through hands-on instruction, you will learn your camera's functions, exposure, the difference between aperture and shutter speed, selecting ISO, depth of field, exposure compensation, and more. You will learn how to avoid common mistakes through discussion and professional critique. After completion of the workshop you will better understand your equipment and be able to take the photographs you desire with more confidence.

Washington Studio School (WSS), a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization, is dedicated to the study of visual arts. WSS offers beginning to advanced classes for adults and high-school teens, an advanced level certificate program, and limited scholarships.
