Hi Friend,

I was like "YES" when I read the most helpful email in January by time management expert Megan Sumrell of the Pink Bee. It resonated sooo much.

The email was about:

  • treating January as a transition month
  • avoiding the trap of new January goals due to post-holiday disruption and
  • easing back into routines.

It was not anti-goal or negative at all. It made me think that February is the new January.

BTW: Her app - The Pink Bee - has some awesome short and free time management trainings.

Did this motivate you, take the pressure off, or give you a sense of relief that there is still hope for 2026 to get off on the right foot so you can accomplish some important goals? I would love to hear your thoughts. Hit reply and let me know what you think.

Yesterday I posted about a recent interview with Danielle Zapchenk of The Parable Podcast. This podcast is a place for stories that illustrate God's presence in our everyday life. These kind of stories, that go in the God Moving circle of the Spiritual Circle Journal, are my favorite kind because seeing God move is something that helps keep me going.

I shared a bit of my story, talked about connecting with God in our busy lives, and covered some things that have helped me the past year and a half as I navigated the grief of losing my sweet husband Jon. I hope you are encouraged by our conversation.

Until Next Time,

P.S. I love doing podcast interviews. If you have any friends with a podcast, I would love to be a guest. I would be so grateful if you would connect us.
