Can you relate?
I know I can, because that was exactly how my life felt many years ago.
I had worked hard in podiatry school and was a skilled practitioner. Maybe I was naive, but I thought that being a great podiatrist would be enough to have a successful practice. You too?
When I flew from New York to California to attend my first business seminar, that’s when it dawned on me... being the best podiatrist on Earth wasn’t going to make up for the fact that I knew ZILCH about business!
So you know what I did?
I promised myself that I would take learning *business* as seriously as I had taken learning podiatry, so that I could fulfill my goal of having a truly successful practice.
I spent the next year working with top notch marketing consultants who taught me all the important foundations– the psychology of marketing, how to get clients, and how to hire and retain teammates to keep the busywork off my plate.
And it worked! One year later I netted six figures, and a few years later I had my first 7-figure year. For 30 years now I’ve run a multi-7 figure podiatry practice.
