Dear St. Francis Parents and Friends,
I hope you enjoyed reading the Campaign brochure I sent as last week's message. This piece gives you an overview of
why these projects matter and why the time to build is now.
This week, I want to give you some examples of the need for Phase 1 and 2 as it relates to our facilities master plan and how these building projects would address the challenges I know many of you have experienced firsthand.
Phase 1 (Preschool and Pre-K)
Phase 2 (Multi-Purpose Facility)
A Multi-Purpose Facility would allow SFA to have Mass or Community Prayer for the entire student body on a rainy day.
This week, only 5th-8th
grade students were able to attend Mass due to space limitations at SFA.
In addition, we had to cancel Community Prayer due to rain and lack of accommodations.
By having a Multi-Purpose Facility,
we would not need to modify events and activities that compete for space
such as the Science Fair, Musical Theater and Ukulele classes. The Glynn Center is used for multiple meetings and activities each week. These and other groups have to move their planned practice or presentation because we do not have the capacity to house them properly.
As you can see,
the time to build is now.
Help us give our students and future students the tools and space necessary to reach their fullest potential. Participation from everyone will make these projects a reality.
