Summertime Arbor Care | Sunshine & Shade

Sit Back & Enjoy

Summertime is when our trees are in full bloom. They are providing shade and color to enhance our backyard BBQs and we can fully appreciate all the hard work and attention we've invested into the health and beauty of our landscape.

We water during hot weeks and prune back new growth for home or driveway clearance. We may even notice flaws like sap droplets, exposed roots, and sunlight blockage.

What we notice over the summer, both the good and the bad, can help us take important steps toward perfecting this relationship with our little urban forest.

Arbor Care Services for Every Season

Plan Ahead for Fall

Deep root fertilizer promotes tree health

Soil health, and a tree's ability to access nutrients from the soil, is commonly overlooked on our urban properties. Lack of leaf litter layers combined with soil compaction can leave our trees nutrient and oxygen deprived.

Deep root fertilizer treatment (a high-pressure injection of nutrients), combined with targeted soil amendments, helps build the vigor of trees so they can provide the shade and beauty we love in the summertime while withstanding pests and disease during harsher seasons.
