Conservation Lessons: Trees, a School and Four Clubs
When the Yombwe family noticed fruit tree shoots in the soil at their Livingstone, Zambia home, a months-long lesson in conservation began to take shape for their Wayi Wayi girls and boys clubs. The family teamed up with their friend Benjamin Mibenge, a well-known environmentalist and tree champion, and embarked on a community project that looks to the future.
