Why We Should Accept Others
Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. (Romans 15:7)
The number one reason we should accept others is because God commanded it! Accepting others grows out of obedience to God.
Another very important reason to accept others is that when we don't accept others, we miss out on their contribution. When we accept and associate with others, we learn from them and they learn from us.
When we look beyond stereotypes, we become to know and appreciate others even though they might not look like us, talk like us or share all of our beliefs and theologies. We should accept others and treat them with respect because everyone was created in the image of God and has a place on this earth.
Therefore, accept others as God has accepted you. Also, accept others to please God!
