This year, 2022, has been a banner year for Place of Hope and the children and families who are blessed through this ministry.

This is only possible thanks to God's provision and your support. As we approach the end of the year, please consider making a tax-deductible donation. Your selfless support will provide the gifts of family, love, and hope for a brighter future.

Just this year, over 6,000 children, youth and families have been served through the ministry of Place of Hope through these programs and services:
  • Neighborhood Family Style Foster Care
  • Transitional Housing & Independent Living
  • Education, Enrichment, Health and Wellness
  • High-quality therapeutic case management and wrap around support services
  • Shade Tree Family Outreach child abuse prevention, outreach and family strengthening

With your love, support and generosity, we are transforming the lives of our community's foster youth, former foster youth, homeless youth, single moms with kids, families in transition, and human trafficking survivors.
Have your gift doubled and double your impact!

Now through the end of the year, Sal & Kim Tiano have stepped up and pledged to match dollar-for-dollar every gift that comes in before December 31!

The Tiano Family has personally been blessed through Place of Hope when they met their now adoptive son, Will, when he was a young teen. Watching Will grow up at Place of Hope, they mentored him, loved on him, celebrated birthdays and homecomings, guided him and watched him walk across the stage graduating high school and college, eventually earning his Master's in Social Work. After turning 18 years old, Will was officially adopted into the Tiano Family.

Will now works at Place of Hope as a Licensed Support Therapist for young men who have lived tumultuous lives similar to his prior to Place of Hope.

The Tiano's know that Will's story would not be possible without Place of Hope. They believe so much in the mission and leadership, that they offered a gift we could not refuse, a matching challenge to inspire more people to give so that more lives like Will's could be changed forever.

Will says, "I love the name Place of Hope, because it gave me the thing I was missing most - hope."

Give now by clicking the "Match My Gift" button below, and Sal & Kim Tiano will match each dollar you donate!
We have so many things to celebrate as we round out 2022! This year, we received full ownership of two campuses: the KidSanctuary Campus in West Palm Beach, and our new Stuart Campus in Martin County, formerly Samaritan's Home for Boys. Both of these campuses are a tremendous blessing allowing us to serve more hurting children in our region. Both organizations entrusted and believed in Place of Hope enough to gift their legacy to us.

The KidSanctuary Campus, in its 10 years has served 136 foster children through our Neighborhood Family Foster Care model! Our Stuart Campus, yet to be named, is under going significant renovation to serve foster youth, former foster youth, homeless youth, single mothers with children and human trafficking survivors, while still serving over 100 families each month through our Shade Tree Family Outreach Program.

God has blessed Place of Hope. With God's provision, and your support, we will serve over 6,000 children, youth and families by December 31!

We love celebrating life with our children and families. This month, we were blessed with some sweet stories we wanted to share with you, as an investor in the lives being changed through Place of Hope. We hope these stories bless you as much as they blessed us.
The Wiglesworth Family sent us their Christmas card with this sweet note,

"We wanted to give Place of Hope an updated photo of our family, as our lives and family have been forever impacted by the great work at Place of Hope. Our two girls are in college, one graduating with honors and the other in her second year, also in honors. Our two adopted boys are thriving! They both are playing sports and in dual language programs. Crazy to think we started our fostering journey over 10 years ago. Thanks again for everything you do to advocate for some of the most vulnerable citizens in our country. I might be biased but I can't thank you enough for your part in making this beautiful family."
We are celebrating alongside our dear friends, the Cannon Family! One of their sons, Nate, just graduated from Indian River State College with his Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration!

Seventeen years ago, Nate and his brother were brought to Place of Hope. Their cottage parents, Travis & Jenni O'Neal began to love on them unconditionally and teach them their value and worth. Nate and his brother were blessed to be adopted by an amazing couple, Todd & Holly Cannon. Through the love and stability, structure and accountability, both boys have shattered national statistics placed on foster youth that only 50% will graduate high school and less than 3% will go on to post secondary schooling. Today, both boys are married and starting their own beautiful families.
Two years ago this amazing, strong and smart young lady walked across the stage and gave us an incredible valedictorian speech. Fast forward to earlier this month, she attended an event where her mentor was being honored. This charismatic young lady gave a generous gift to Place of Hope and humbly stated, "Place of Hope raised me right and taught me how to be able to give back."
Changing lives and generations.

We are so excited to hear one of our former youth who came through our Extended Foster Care (EFC) program at Villages of Hope, is expecting his first baby with his beautiful wife!

This driven young man aged out of foster care and transitioned on to Villages of Hope where he completed the necessary requirements to purchase his own home through our work with Habitat for Humanity. During his time at Villages of Hope, he worked at our charity store before being hired as Place of Hope's IT Operations Coordinator. Today, this happy couple is thriving and living their best life.

We love seeing these lives changed! You are a big part of each of these stories and thousands more!
Tis the Season!
Happy Hanukkah! Wishing your family peace and light this holiday season.

Hanukkah is a joyous Jewish holiday that recalls an ancient miracle after a hard-fought victory over religious oppression. The Jewish Festival of Rededication, also called the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day celebration to commemorate the oil that miraculously lasted for eight days during the temple's rededication.
This Sunday, our final Advent candle will be lit before our Savior is born. This is the Love Candle. For those who believe and celebrate, this candle represents the greatest of all virtues and Jesus' purpose on Earth.

Jesus focused on preaching love throughout His ministry. Love God, love your neighbor. This week, and all the weeks to come, let us love.
December 9th was National Christmas Card Day!

We were blessed to have over two dozen volunteers, kids, Angel Moms and PBSO Deputies who came out to our KidSanctuary Campus to help us write 400 Christmas cards! These unique cards were hand-crafted with love, and each shares a word of encouragement for those who received them.

Holidays can be a traumatic and isolating time of year. These cards remind each of those in our care that they are seen, loved and appreciated. Watch the news coverage of the Christmas card decorating morning on our YouTube channel @placeofhopePBG.

Two incredible volunteers were honored as well for their dedication and commitment to the mission, Carla Pisani and Meg Weinberger. State Attorney Dave Aronberg, who has been instrumental in advocating for children during tumultuous times in their lives, was honored as our 2022 Sanctuary Advocate.
