YOUR PARTICIPATION MATTERS:

Your support could change the lives of young people like Marco who came to live at St. Vincent Home when he was 17.  He had experienced a lot of things most of us don’t even know about.  Life had not been good or fair.  Marco needed a purpose in his life and a reason to do better --- he needed hope and new skills to help him be successful.  

 
At St. Vincent, Marco found caring people whom he came to trust and he learned new things.  He discovered undeveloped artistic talents and better ways to get his needs met. 
 
After several months, Marco was able to move to a foster family but he took with him new hope, new skills, and goals to accomplish.  He is now attending college part-time and feels that he is on his way to a positive future.  We often see Marco as he stops in to update us on his new life --- he has a lasting connection to us even though he has moved on.
 
Marco is just one of many youth who have set their lives on a more positive course as a result of the relationships, treatment, new skills, and hope that they have found at St. Vincent Home for Children.  
 
Whether it happens with students in St. Vincent School, in our Residential Treatment Program, our Shelter with Home-based Individual & Family Counseling, or our SMART Parenting Home-based Program, some really wonderful, life-altering changes occur.  We are blessed to be able to play a part in transforming these young lives!

VOLUNTEER FOR THIS EVENT!

St. Vincent Home for Children is in need of volunteers for our upcoming Golf for Children event at Glen Echo Country Club on Monday, June 6th. We need 10 more volunteers to help with things such as: Event setup, Registration, drink station attendants, Silent Auction monitors, Hole spotters, Clean up.
