Aug. 18, 2016
Greetings!

Lets face it, it has been a rough summer, with drought, caterpillar attacks, and shark infested waters. But we are not gonna let that stop us, right? This is Cape Cod and we have saltwater in our blood, making us hardy and
true New Englanders.

I bought myself some great Daisy plants and even though it will be hard to dig in the dry, hard, arid soil, I'm gonna plant them. I have Shasta, Montauk, and Echinacea. I love their positive little heads bobbing in my garden.

I also have a plan of attack against the stupid moths/caterpillars next year. My poor trees are resilient but I'm gonna break down and have them sprayed. They won't make it much longer if they keep getting attacked, like they did this year.

And as far as the sharks go, well heck, they were here a billion years before me and they can do whatever they want, being all magnificent and sharky like. Plus I do believe they are bringing a sort of bump to our economy here with the Shark Tours and all.

Be well ~ Nan
