I am excited to offer two new online courses starting June 10 (See below the video). The videos that I have been featured in THE ART HABIT, while we've been sheltering in place, have been taken from these courses.
This newsletter offers a resource to find a labyrinth near you.
But, why would you want to find a labyrinth in your community to walk?
What are labyrinths for?
The labyrinth's sacred geometry design is more than 4,000 years old.
Humans have walked it as a safe container to set an intention, for prayer, reflection, meditation or pilgrimage throughout the ages.
We can trust the labyrinth to hold our happiness, our sorrow,
our questions and our lament.
In the video below I guide you through a labyrinth walk in the spirit of a
Time Travel, taking the opportunity to ask our ancestors these questions:
- What do you need from me now, in the present?
- What do you want me to carry forward as a gift?
- What ancestral burdens can I leave behind for the labyrinth to hold?
Join me in this labyrinth walk, whether it be with a finger labyrinth in your journal or a full scale labyrinth in your community (& remember to take your mask :)!)
