The Library: Hanson’s Front Door for Opportunity

To the Hanson Community,

Newsletter 3 | November 2025

Libraries provide equitable access to information, resources, and technology for all residents, enabling them to pursue education, improve their careers, and enrich their personal lives. Vital services include free wifi, research assistance and test prep, small business support, safe after-school spots for teens, cultural programs that create community connections, and places to relax, unwind, and meet your neighbors. Hanson’s library provides all of these in tight quarters and now has an opportunity to expand its space and services without losing the hometown feel.

Four Values at the Core:

  • Access: Free resources that don’t depend on a credit card
  • Learning: From early literacy to adult skill building
  • Connection: Programs that bridge generations and neighborhoods
  • Culture: Local history, local art, local voices

Help us tell the story: share what the library has meant in your life. Your words shape the project—and help neighbors understand the value.

You're Invited!!

Take a guided tour of the library to learn about the current building’s challenges and our plan to address them as part of the renovation.

Tours are offered at 10:00 am on every first Saturday from November to May. Can’t make Saturday? Contact us to schedule a different day.

These project newsletters are developed and generated by the Owner's Project Manager, to keep the community informed of the progress being made on the site.
