HAPPY 2024, MY FRIENDS!!!

I hope you all had a great holiday and you were able to spend some quality time kneeling at the manger, worshiping our Lord. What an amazing God we serve!!

Many women in our most recent widow class spent some time seeking the Lord and asking for a special word or verse that would be their theme for the year. I have felt led that this year the Lord would have me focus on being "fully present" as I walk through the day. I am so used to multi-tasking that far too often I'm distracted and not fully engaged. Jesus was fully present when interacting with others, and I want to be like Him. Prayerfully consider what the Lord would ask of you for this year.

Getting Your Affairs in Order

This will be a six-week gathering to watch a Dave Ramsey video teaching about God’s perspective on wealth and about leaving a written legacy to our children. In addition, we will systematically gather all our important documents, passwords, and policies, put them in order for our family, and hold each other accountable for doing this. The date and time have not been officially established as of yet, but the class will be held early afternoon on a weekday beginning in February.

Desserts for the Men at Lorain Correctional Institute

Grace Church’s outreach to the men incarcerated at the Lorain Correctional Institute continues. About 50 men will gather each Tuesday to dive into a Bible study called Rooted and desserts are thoroughly appreciated.
