What's all the buzz about beekeeping?


Meadowview Bees owner Steve Finke will lead an interactive, hands-on beekeeping program at Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary on Sat., May 21.


Join us to delve into the inner workings of honey bee colonies, how beekeepers manage colonies, and review the sweet rewards of honey and other hive products from honey bee colonies. 


We will use a glass observation hive to see a honey bee queen and the rest of the “family” up close, and we'll visit live hives on site.


Participants will be treated to a honey tasting and discussion.
