DOM's Top-Rated Show for August

Starting this month, we are making some changes to the Top Vote-Getter to ensure more members, shows, and theme blocks are getting acknowledged. We will be choosing a theme block for each month of the year, except for the December Prize which will go to the Top Vote-Getter for the whole year!

Another change we are making is that a member can only win once for the year, except for the December prize for Top-Vote Getter (250 DOM bucks!). Everyone who submits a show in 2018 is eligible for that!

This month the theme block is Youth, and the winner is Comic Con 2018: Blase. The 25 DOM bucks will go to Paulina Núñez!

Next month Top Vote-Getter will be a show in the GLBTQ theme block!

Learn how to submit your shows here.

Open Media Lab - Underwriting and Networking

The key to successfully producing a show is gaining support. The clearer and more inviting you can be when describing your show, the more likely you are to connect with those that share your vision.

We will be demonstrating how to deliver an exciting description of your show to attract underwriters and collaborators alike at this month's Open Media Lab (OML) on Wednesday, September 19th, at 6:45pm.

Success of Shindig
The 2018 DOM Member Shindig was a smashing success! We had over 60 attendees, had four food and drink sponsors, shot 11 member videos (for a DOM promo), and partnered with Open Screen Night to produce a 2-1/2 hour live event in Studio A. Most importantly, members were able to network and connect with one another, AND we got great feedback about how we can continue to grow and improve DOM!

THANKS, EVERYONE!
