Join City of Gainesville staff for a community workshop on Tuesday, April 26 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Albert "Ray" Massey Recreation Center (1001 NW 34th St.) to discuss the upcoming Wild Spaces & Public Places and infrastructure referendum.

At this meeting, City staff will:
·    Share information about a ballot initiative regarding Wild Space & Public Places and infrastructure surtax
·    Provide opportunities to speak directly with staff
·    Offer clarity around how funds may be used
·    Invite input into how we prioritize the funds if the surtax is passed
 
If passed, the revenue will fund Wild Spaces & Public Places projects, as well as others, such as:
·    Roadway improvements
·    Affordable housing land acquisition
·    Fire Station improvements
·    Economic development
