Join us April 30th for Wild Wines of the Sonoma Mountains with Sean Castorani & Joanna Wells

An evening devoted to the craft of wine at its highest level.

Sean Castorani and Joanna Wells of Model Farm are part of a small group of American winemakers redefining what California wine can be—working with historic vineyard sites, farming with intention, and producing wines that speak clearly of place rather than manipulation.

Their approach is rooted in deep knowledge of soil, elevation, and microclimate—from the windswept slopes of Wildcat Mountain to the historic Berger Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. Every decision is made by hand: native fermentations, restrained use of oak, and a philosophy that favors balance, transparency, and longevity over excess.

The results have not gone unnoticed:

  • Sonoma Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon — 95+ Points, John Gilman
  • Berger Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon — 95 Points, John Gilman
  • Staiger Vineyard Chardonnay — 94 Points, Vinous & John Gilman
  • Wildcat Mountain Chardonnay — 93 Points, John Gilman

These are wines of precision, structure, and quiet power—built not just to impress, but to endure.

Throughout the evening, each course has been composed with intention—designed not simply to accompany the wines, but to highlight, contrast, and elevate them. From the brightness of the first pour to the depth of the final glass, the experience unfolds as a progression—one that connects vineyard, kitchen, and table.

Guests will have the rare opportunity to:

  • Meet and engage directly with Sean and Joanna
  • Explore the wines in depth, with context and insight from the winemakers themselves
  • Purchase limited-production bottles at preferred pricing available only during the evening

Our menu offers thoughtful selections at each course, and we are happy to accommodate dietary preferences and allergies with advance notice—ensuring that every guest can fully experience the intention behind both the food and the wine.

This is not simply a dinner.

It is a carefully composed experience—one that reflects a shared philosophy between those who farm, those who cook, and those who gather.

Limited seating available.
