We are calling on out-of-school youth to
 FIX IT!
Do you know of someone age 17-24 who is out of school, doesn't have a job, and needs some motivation to start a new chapter in their life? They are the perfect candidate for our new workforce development program, FIX IT ! Fix It is an entry-level certification program that will train eligible youth for the workforce. Participants can train in five fields of study and earn a stipend while getting training !
iHeart Radio’s 107.3 The Beat and 100.3 Hallelujah FM host their first Pajama Jam benefiting USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital and Children’s Home Society of Florida . Pajama donations (sizes Newborn to young adult) are being accepted in the Student Services office on Main campus until December 13 .

ACCS Returns to Mobile
The Alabama Community College Association Conference made its way back to Mobile this year -- the first time since 2008! With nearly 100 attendees from Bishop State alone, we definitely made our presence be known with our Ambassadors guiding the way, our presenters discussing important topics, and our cosmetology and nursing students putting their skills on display. And CONGRATULATIONS to Dr. Victoria Perry for her new role as the 2018-2019 ACCA President!
