Wildcat Weekly on hiatus during holiday break
During the Winter break – the several weeks between the end of fall semester and the start of spring semester – Wildcat Weekly will be on hiatus. Those official dates include Dec. 18, Dec. 25, Jan. 1, Jan. 8 and Jan. 15, and regular distribution will resume Jan. 22. Any story, event or announcement submitted to Wildcat Weekly between now and the beginning of the spring semester will be placed in the closest publication date available.
Students studying  unmanned aircraft systems  on the Polytechnic Campus  are receiving a rare flight experience in some of their courses that is positioning them at the forefront of the drone industry.

Veteran Students
The Flint Hills Veterans Coalition is offering a $1,000 scholarship for the spring semester. Must be currently serving in the military or honorably discharged veteran. Must be full-time. Deadline: February 1, 2019 Apply Here

Employee Tuition Assistance
Some K-State employees may be eligible for employee tuition assistance. Up to 3 credit hours of tuition a semester is possible. Must be a full-time (0.9 FTE or above), benefits-eligible position. For more information, visit http://www.k-state.edu/sfa/manage/forms/eta1.pdf .
Dependent/Spouse Grant
Dependents and spouses of full-time (0.9 FTE or above), benefits eligible, regular appointment employees may qualify for the dependent/spouse grant – up to 7 hours for full-time, undergraduate dependents and 3 hours for spouses and graduate dependents.
