The Kansas Department of Transportation’s aviation division is hosting a tech forum focused on its participation in the federal Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration Pilot Program, or UAS IPP, Thursday, Dec. 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the College Center Conference Room.
With almost 50 different concepts submitted, the campus has chosen the top three winners of the T-shirt Design Contest. Congratulations to faculty member Michael Oetken, staff member Eric Cole, and student Hannah Schulte.
Kudos, publications and presentations
Three students in the aviation maintenance management degree at K-State Polytechnic entered the Aero Skills Tournament in Wichita Nov. 17. Two of the students earned second and third place in the junior category and one student placed third in an exhibition round.
Campus life
Students who are graduating Friday, Dec. 7 should keep several things in mind leading up to the ceremony, including commencement rehearsal time, what to wear, and how family and friends can watch online.

Employee Tuition Assistance

Dependents and spouses of full-time (0.9 FTE or above), benefits eligible, regular appointment employees may qualify for the dependent/spouse grant – up to 7 hours for full-time, undergraduate dependents and 3 hours for spouses and graduate dependents.
