The Student Life Center is hosting a weight lifting contest Saturday, March 2 for faculty, staff and students. There are individual events and one team competition. Registration ends Feb. 22.

The Wichita Aero Club is offering two scholarships to aviation students. We have had K-State Polytechnic students receive these scholarships in the past. Deadline: March 8, 2019 Apply Here
The Richard L. Taylor Flight Training scholarship is a $1500 award to professional pilot students with a 3.0 or higher GPA. Must have your private pilot license. Deadline: March 29, 2019 Apply Here
Engineering Students
The National Society of Professional Engineers is offering a number of scholarships to engineering students. Deadline: March 1, 2019 Apply Here
The Raymond Alvine Memorial Scholarship is a $5,000 scholarship to students majoring in mechanical or electrical engineering. Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA and be enrolled full time. Deadline: March 31, 2019 Apply Here
Employee Tuition Assistance
Some K-State employees may be eligible for employee tuition assistance. Up to 3 credit hours of tuition a semester is possible. Must be a full-time (0.9 FTE or above), benefits-eligible position. For more information, visit http://www.k-state.edu/sfa/manage/forms/eta1.pdf .
Dependent/Spouse Grant
Dependents and spouses of full-time (0.9 FTE or above), benefits eligible, regular appointment employees may qualify for the dependent/spouse grant – up to 7 hours for full-time, undergraduate dependents and 3 hours for spouses and graduate dependents.
