The goal of the spirited ambush was to celebrate the students' scholarship achievements and welcome them into the Polytechnic family.
Campus life
A place on campus where students can access free non-perishable food, hygiene items and professional clothing, Cats' Corner is currently in need of several items in order to continue assisting Wildcats. 
Upward Bound assists area high school students and has been on campus for 15 years while Student Support Services helps students enrolled in post-secondary educational institutions and started on campus in 2001.
Get your tastebuds ready! The Chili Cook-off has been set for Friday, Feb. 8 and any K-State Polytechnic student, faculty or staff member, or alumnus may enter. The registration form, along with a $10 entry fee, is due Feb. 4 by 5 p.m.

The Jimmy Rane Foundation is offering scholarships to undergraduate students with at least a 2.75 GPA. Must not be older than 20 years of age as of August 1, 2019. Deadline: February 6 . Apply Here
Aviation Students
The Bob Stuart Memorial Scholarship is offering two $1,000 scholarships to aviation students. Must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Deadline: February 15, 2019 . Apply Here

Engineering Students
The Society of Women Engineers is offering a variety of scholarships to females majoring in engineering. Deadline: February 15, 2019 Apply Here
Hispanic Students
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund is accepting scholarship applications. Eligible students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA to apply. Deadline: February 5 . Apply Here
Military Children
Fisher House is offering scholarships to children of active duty, reserve/guard or retired military commissary customers. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or better. Awards for 2019-2020 school year are $2,000. Deadline: February 15 . Apply Here
Veteran Students
The Flint Hills Veterans Coalition is offering a $1,000 scholarship for the spring semester. Must be currently serving in the military or honorably discharged veteran. Must be full-time. Deadline: February 1, 2019 Apply Here
Employee Tuition Assistance
Some K-State employees may be eligible for employee tuition assistance. Up to 3 credit hours of tuition a semester is possible. Must be a full-time (0.9 FTE or above), benefits-eligible position. For more information, visit http://www.k-state.edu/sfa/manage/forms/eta1.pdf .
Dependent/Spouse Grant
Dependents and spouses of full-time (0.9 FTE or above), benefits eligible, regular appointment employees may qualify for the dependent/spouse grant – up to 7 hours for full-time, undergraduate dependents and 3 hours for spouses and graduate dependents.
