United Way Winners
Thanks to all who donated to United Way!

The campus raised more than $2,685 for the Salina Area United Way, which exceeded the campus's goal of $2,500. These dollars stay in the Salina community, and it is people like you making an impact.

The winners of this year's drawing are the following:

• A K-State Cafe punch card worth 10 free lunches from Aladdin - Beth Drescher
• An office lunch party up to 20 individuals from Aladdin - Kris Grinter
• Eight hours off with pay from K-State Polytechnic - Dustin Keiswetter

Campus life
Students Engage in Welcome Week Activities
Last week, students participated in Welcome Week events organized by K-State Polytechnic's Programming Board. Activities included free movies, massages in the Tech Center, paint-your-own pottery and a night at the trampoline park. 50-75 students are estimated to have attended.
Club Fair This Week!
Interested in getting more involved or joining a club on campus? Come to Club Fair on Wednesday January 29th in the Student Life Center. Clubs including AGS, Women in Aviation, AAAE, Alpha Eta Rho, SGA, Programming Board, Student Support Services and the new Powder Cats Ski Club will be represented. Stop by and learn more about the clubs and organizations on campus!
Chili Cook-Off
K-State Polytechnic's annual Chili Cook off is coming up! Chili entries are being taken in the categories of "Tickle Your Tastebuds" (Mild), "Warm n' Fuzzy" (Medium) and "Melt Your Face Off" (Hot). If you're interested in entering your chili, bring registration forms to Student Support Services in College Center 208 no later than February 3rd. This event is open to K-State Polytechnic students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Need more money for college? Continuing students should apply for K-State scholarships for the 2020-2021 year by Feb. 15.

Hispanic Students
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund is now accepting scholarship applications. Must have a 2.5 college GPA or better.

The Society of Women Engineers is offering scholarships to females majoring in engineering.

Jimmy Rane Scholarship
The Jimmy Rane Foundation is offering scholarships to students with a minimum 2.75 college GPA. Must be born on or after August 1, 2000.

Military Children
The Fisher House offers scholarships to the children of military members/veterans. College GPA of 2.5 or higher is required

Aviation Students
The Bob Stuart Memorial Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship to a student majoring in aviation. Must have at least a 2.5 GPA

KSU is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a student veteran
