The  unmanned aircraft systems program  on the Polytechnic Campus  has been named the second-place winner in the Training and Education category of the XCELLENCE Awards by the Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems International, or AUVSI.
The Marchbanks Memorial Award for Teaching Excellence is awarded every year to a K-State Polytechnic faculty member who promotes excellence in education with a focus on the development of students’ talents and abilities. 
Out of 18 submissions, associate professor of economics Siny Joseph has chosen three microeconomics projects and one macroeconomics project to display on campus.

Be aware of installed speed bumps on campus
Speed bumps have temporarily been installed around the campus to reduce speeding. Please do not attempt to drive around the speed bumps as it is causing damage to the grass on the road's shoulder.

All K-State Students
The Non-Traditional and Veteran Student Services office is offering the Educational Opportunity Fund scholarship to part-time ($350) and full-time ($700) students. Deadline: June 30, 2019 Apply Here .
Aviation Students
Women in Aviation is offering a number of scholarships to help students obtain flight ratings or tuition assistance. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Deadline: May 31, 2019 . Apply Here .
Regional Airline Association is offering a scholarship to students enrolled in a program that leads to a career in the airline industry. Award amount is $4,000. Must have a 2.5 or higher GPA. Deadline: June 3, 2019 Apply Here .
The Eugene S. Kropf scholarship is a $500 award available to students enrolled in an aviation related curriculum. Must have a 3.0 or high GPA. Deadline: June 15, 2019 Apply Here .
The Joseph Frasca Excellence in Aviation scholarship is a $1,000 award. Must be a junior or senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Deadline: June 30, 2019 Apply Here .
The Paul A. Whelan Aviation scholarship is open to student enrolled in an aviation major. Award amount is $2,000. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Deadline: June 30, 2019 . Apply Here .

Employee Tuition Assistance

Dependent/Spouse Grant
Dependents and spouses of full-time (0.9 FTE or above), benefits eligible, regular appointment employees may qualify for the dependent/spouse grant – up to 7 hours for full-time, undergraduate dependents and 3 hours for spouses and graduate dependents.
