Students who participate in PSIA meet to practice with their “coaches” for 45 minutes, after school every other week or weekly leading up to the District Meet, which takes place on a Saturday the end of March. Students who qualify in their category/categories at the District Meet will go on to compete at the State Meet in April, which is typically held at TCU.

We are considering offering PSIA at Saint Andrew and still have time to organize teams this year! However, we would need Parent Volunteers to coach small groups (4-5) of students in specific categories each week or every other week and would also need a parent to volunteer to be the PSIA Coordinator. Please click on the link below to complete a brief survey to help us gauge interest in participating in PSIA.

SAS Volunteer Spotlight
Meet the Guirola Family!
Ricardo and Gina have two sons, Rodrigo (6th grade) and Ricky (2nd grade).
The Faith and Community we have experienced at Saint Andrew has been the greatest gift the school could have given us. Having the opportunity to share our Faith and Values with those around us is priceless. Leaning on our Catholic beliefs to educate and raise our children is of utmost importance to our family. Saint Andrew provides this and much more.

Our family enjoys playing sports and most of our weekends are full of games. On those rare occasions when we get a weekend off we enjoy spending time with friends or staying home watching movies and playing games. We also love to travel and visit new places

Favorite Bible Verse:
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding

Spiritual Life Committee Marian Statue Program
Home and School’s Spiritual Life Committee at SAS offers two blessed statues to its families, a Statue of Rosa Mystica and an Immaculate Heart of Mary Statue.

Each week, from a Wednesday afternoon to the following Wednesday morning, two families have the opportunity to take one of these statues home to use as a source of inspiration, prayer and reflection. The tote bag containing the statue also contains suggested prayers. This special tradition will hopefully be one full of meaning and faith for each of you. Pick up and drop off location is the SAS Front Office.

Sign up is ongoing through the school year.
