PARENT-TEACHER/STAFF PRAYER PARTNERS
Have you ever visited the school lunchroom or looked around at dismissal and thought, "I don't know how these teachers and staff do it!" They are a true Godsend and praying for them is one of the simplest ways to fortify them in their work.
Sign up to be a parent-teacher/staff prayer partner
and they will also be praying for you! Many more prayer enthusiasts are needed for this special ministry and parents (moms and dads), grandparents and friends are strongly encouraged to volunteer.
Who doesn't need a few extra prayers? Plus it only takes a minute of your day. We will partner you with a member of the school team, provide a prayer card as a visual reminder and send occasional tips for new ways to pray and deepen your faith.
As of December 7, 47% of SAS parents have given to the Annual Fund. The total of parents, grandparents, parishioners, and alumni donations is $207,000. Please consider giving by December 31, 2018 for your tax deduction. SAS parents can use their new Facts Incidental Account or a credit card by
clicking here.
Remember if you give at the $2000 or above leadership level you get a FREE reserved table for 10 at the Auction, April 6, Saturday, at Ridglea Country Club.

SAS STUDENTS MAKING CHARACTER COUNT
Mrs. Mack, SAS Counselor, would like to thank the following SAS students for making “Character Count”. These students received the
Trustworthiness
award after Mass last Wednesday. This is a new program that has been implemented this year at Saint Andrew Catholic School. The teachers have been asked to submit one or two names to Mrs. Mack each month for students who possess the monthly character trait. Each month she will focus on a different character trait. The character trait for December is Trustworthiness. Keep up the good work students and continue to make character count.

The Spiritual Life Committee at Saint Andrew Catholic School offers two blessed statues to its families: A statue of Rosa Mystica and an Immaculate Heart of Mary Statue.
Each week (from Wednesday afternoon to the following Wednesday morning) two families will have the opportunity to take these statues home and use them as a source of inspiration, prayer and reflection. The tote bag containing the statue will also have suggested prayers. This special tradition will hopefully be one full of meaning and faith for each of you.
