Dear Families,

Thank you to all of you that came out to conferences! It was great to see you and be able to meet with you and share about your child(ren)’s growth and development!

Thank you for those that filled out our PBIS Climate surveys. At BES we had 30 completed and at SRES 23. Your feedback will help our individual campuses reflect and improve.

Our kids in grades 3-5 have been working hard on VTCAP testing! We are so proud of their perseverance and hard work to demonstrate their learning.

A Letter from

Principal Oakes

This 4th annual WRVHS music department trip to Washington DC was a great success! 33 WRVHS musicians accompanied by 5 adult chaperones spent 3 nights/4 days in our capital city.  Students had two very full days of adventure, including visits to the National African American Museum of History and Culture, the Smithsonian National Zoo, The Holocaust Museum, a walk around the National Mall including visits to the Washington Monument, Vietnam Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial, and attending a fantastic production of Beauty and the Beast at the National Theater. Finally, as is tradition, our Senior class of 11 students had a special and secret "Senior Soiree" evening out on the town with Ms. Finch.
