Dear Families,

Welcome back, Wildcats! I hope your April vacations were restful, fun, and filled with time to recharge. Before break, we wrapped up with lots of school spirit and a wonderful community food drive. Thank you to everyone who donated to our local food shelves. When I dropped off the donations in Bethel, they were incredibly appreciative of the generosity shown by our school community!

Hello Wildcat community,

As we return from Spring Break, we enter the final stretch of the school year. The weeks ahead are full of field trips, culminating projects, and the final units of study that allow students to demonstrate the growth they’ve made this year. It’s an exciting and very busy time across the building.

White River Valley High School’s AP Environmental Science class spent April break on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Six seniors, with teacher Laura Leavitt and chaperone Noel Woolf, explored marine ecosystems while studying climate change’s impact on coral reefs. Working with a marine biologist from Friends of Virgin Islands National Park, they learned about sea turtle conservation and human threats.
