Dear School Community!,

Welcome to November! A time for gratitude and thankfulness. We are so thankful for your support!

As the days get colder and we anticipate our first snow- please be sure to send your children in ready! Snow gear such as snow pants, boots, hats and mittens or gloves are a must!

There are so many exciting things happening across WRVES — from the engaging work in our Third Grade at SRES to Guidance at BES and SRES! Check them out!

A Letter from

Principal Oakes

This past week several faculty members and students attended the Rowland Conference for Vermont Educators where the theme was How to Citizen: Engaging Students in Democracy. It was an inspirational environment that was honest about the challenges we face, as well as a reminder of the need to be in community and seek to understand others. The sense of community and belonging is a strength of White River Valley and we recognize that there is still work to be done. We will continue this important work through our advisory program throughout the year.
