Challenge of Wilderness Living

Saturday, September 16th @ 11:00am

Through their presentation, Tim and Susan Caverly will take participants deep into the Maine wilderness where they will experience the demands of everyday ranger life and learn how spouses are often called into the thick of the action. Along the way, Tim and his wife will throw in Native American legends, Northwoods lore, and a few forest characters. At the end, Tim and Susan will reenact a search and rescue they conducted one dark night in November, in a snowstorm, while using a canoe to travel a mile across a wilderness lake to rescue a lost deer hunter.
