Congratulations to the recipients of our summer 2025 Youth Mini Grant Awards!

Each local organization listed below will receive $3,000 to support their youth programming! Now in its 15th year, the CDC has awarded more than $120,000 to 30 local organizations reaching more than 3,000 Wilkinsburg youth who participate in summer and after school programming. We are excited to see this programming in action this summer!

Our third annual Strong Neighborhoods Resource Fair was a huge success! On Saturday, May 17, more than 50 community partners joined us at the Wilkinsburg Train Station to share resources to help residents advance their projects and community. We are grateul to everyone who came out to spend their Saturday with us.

Core Four Workshop Graduation Saturday, June 17

We are so excited to celebrate our next graduating Core Four class later this month!


Our Core Four business planning course teaches aspiring and existing business owners the fundamental skills they need to set themselves up for success. To date, more than 160 people have graduated from the program.

This free eight-week workshop creates a baseline in research, accounting and marketing and is offered in the spring and fall.

We're thrilled to announce Jessica Peña Heberle as our next artist for CDCP x WCDC Present: Art All Over. Join us on Saturday, June 28 from 12-3pm at the WCDC's Lohr Gallery for the artist reception, where Jessica will be in the gallery with us to chat about her work in the show. Free food and drinks will be provided.

CDCP x WCDC Present: Jessica Peña Heberle will be open every other Saturday from 12-5pm until the show closes on October 4th. Stay tuned for details on programming that will coincide with this exhibit.
