2022 Tim Howard Leadership Academy

The NJCTS Tim Howard Leadership Academy is a unique, interactive experience designed just for teens with Tourette Syndrome. During their four day stay on the campus of Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA, participants develop and hone their sense of self leadership, self-advocacy and resilience.

The Academy is FREE, but the friendships made and the community created is priceless!

Eligible applicants:

  • Have a diagnosis of Tourette Syndrome
  • Are comfortable being away from home
  • Are able to sit in a workshop setting
  • Are entering sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school or have just completed senior year of high school by June (or international equivalent.)

COACHES WANTED
NJCTS Tim Howard Leadership Academy coaches are invaluable members of the leadership team at the core of the Academy. Coaches are between 20-30 years old, have a TS diagnosis, may have been diagnosed with co-morbid conditions, and ideally have considerable leadership experience.
