Join the Call to End Food Insecurity

Food insecurity is a crisis in our community that demands immediate action.

The cost of living continues to skyrocket and many of our community members, especially those with disabilities who rely on social assistance, are struggling to afford basic needs – like food.

We are sharing a series of videos on our YouTube channel that dig into the issue further.

You can help.

Please visit the Raise Your Voice page on our website. You will find a letter that you can download, fill out, and send to local elected representatives and government officials. You can also use our letter as inspiration for your own letter.

Real change will come only if we raise our voices together, as a community.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Jerrett

Raise Your Voice

Spotlight: Children and Youth Services

Empowering children and families in inclusion since 1962

Our Children and Youth Services team works hard to support and advocate alongside children, teens, and families in North Muskoka.

We offer Resource Consultant services for children ages 18-months to 6-years old, and their families, to support overall development and inclusion for children with developmental delay or risk of developmental delay. No diagnosis is needed.

And our Family Support services provide collaborative, personalized support, resources, and advocacy tailored to families of children and youth ages 6 to 18, or 21 if in school, with developmental disabilities, so children, teens, and young adults can be active, connected, and included members of their community, now and into the future.
